When most people think of McDonalds, they think of quick and easy fast food. However, the World’s Largest McDonald’s in Orlando, Florida offers so much more than that. This massive, two-story restaurant is located off Sand Lake Road and is a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. It’s truly a guilty pleasure, and yes, there are tons of things to do in Orlando, but for lunch with a bit of playtime it’s absolutely perfect. Plus, like everything in the central-Florida city, it’s minutes from Disney, Universal, and essentially every hotel in the area.

The first thing that you’ll notice about the World’s Largest McDonald’s is its sheer size. With 19,000 square feet of space, there’s plenty of room to move around and explore. The restaurant features two floors, with the first floor being dedicated to the main dining area and the second floor housing the PlayPlace and arcade.

The arcade is a highlight of the World’s Largest McDonald’s, and it’s easy to see why. Think a miniature Dave and Busters. With over 50 games to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re into the classics like Pac-Man and Galaga or newer games like Jurassic Park, Fruit Ninja, and various VR games, you’ll find it here, and the kids will have plenty to occupy their time.

The McDonalds’ staples and plenty more

With the sheer curiosity that is a one-off, massive entertainment center, it’s easy to forget about the food at the World’s Largest McDonalds. While the restaurant does serve up all the classic McDonalds fare that you know and love, there are also some unique items on the menu that you won’t find at other locations. For example, you can try the made-to-order pasta dishes or the pizza that’s baked fresh in the restaurant’s brick oven. We were a bit starstruck the first time we saw an active brick oven being loaded with fresh, legit pizzas in a McDonalds. It’s very…surreal.

If you’re looking for something a bit more adventurous, there’s also the Create Your Taste menu. With this option, you can build your own burger from a variety of toppings and sauces. It’s a great way to customize your meal and try something new than the typical “#1, large, and a Coke” that you’ll find at every other McDonalds.
